We don’t like unsolicited emails any more than
you do. That is why Feeling Scorned will not, under

Returns
We do our best to ensure that your card is in
perfect condition when mailed, but sometimes cards

United States Postal Service (USPS), it is beyond
our control how the mail is treated and no refund or
re-send is offered.
All shipments will be made using the United Sates
Postal Service (USPS) First Class mail with delivery
confirmation. If at any time a shipment is not
received, please (insert contact us link). We will
research the claim and respond back to you within 48
-72 hours (to exclude weekends and holidays). If
claim cannot be resolved we will send a replacement
order to you.
E-Card Transmissions
When you use our web site to send an e-card or
any other content, your e-mail address and your
recipient's e-mail address is collected. We need
this specific information to send the e-card and
provide you a confirmation that your e-card has been
sent. Don’t worry; we will not use the recipient's
e-mail address for any purpose other than to send
the e-card.
Cookies
Ever hear about “cookies?” Well, they are not
the kind you can eat. Actually,
cookies are pieces of information sent to your
browser from our web server and stored on your
computer’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes.
Feeling Scorned uses this technology to count the
number of visitors who use/view our site. This way
we can see what interests our users and it allows us
to make improvements to keep our site interesting
for our customers.
Privacy of E-Card Information
Your correspondence between you and the
recipient will be treated as private and will not be
disclosed except under the specific situations
listed below under Disclosure Exclusions. Our
terms of use and privacy
policy applies to all of our e-cards and greeting
cards, including your personalized messages. Under
normal circumstances, we will not monitor or edit
the contents of the e-cards sent; however, in the
event of technical issues in processing your e-card
or if we need to complete maintenance of our site,
we may have the need to review your message. If at
any time you (the sender) makes a request to
verify delivery of the e-card, we need to advise you
that we have the ability to access everything, and
we mean everything, in
regards to the e-card. This includes the recipient’s
e-mail address and your message.
Disclosure Exclusions
We have the right to disclose your personal
information to the proper third-parties when
required by law or if we feel it is necessary to do
so under the following circumstances:
• To
protect our company's rights and property;
• If we receive reports of our users sending
material using a false e-mail address or users
sending harassing, threatening, or abusive
messages, we will fully investigate;
• If we receive a search warrant, subpoena or
court order, we will comply immediately;
• To protect against misuse or unauthorized use
of our web site and/or the Feeling Scorned
service; or
• If we feel someone's physical safety is at
risk.
Abusive, Harassing & Threatening Messages
Even though you are feeling scorned it doesn’t
mean you go crazy! Our cards and e-cards are not
threatening, harassing nor do they contain abusive
language; therefore, please refrain from adding
these types of messages to your cards. Just so you
know: your IP address can be accessed by the e-card
recipient in the header of the notification e-mail.
The recipient, law enforcement, and/or the
recipient’s legal representative can track the
source of the e-card. By using our service, you
knowingly and voluntarily assume any risks
associated with such disclosure.
In addition to abusive language and threats, Feeling
Scorned will not
tolerate users attempting the following:
•
Use of pornographic or
obscene messages or images
(as bad as you feel, don’t sink to
the next level!);
• No one likes a virus, whether
it is physical or on the computer, so do not
send viruses, corruptive files,
or anything that will
disable a computer;
• Please, please, please! If you are
sending a card be
upfront and don’t attempt to lie or conceal your
identity. Why send the
card then?;
• Don't even think
about attempting to steal credit card
information or passwords -- that is not cool;
• Promoting illegal and fraudulent activity
through this site is prohibited, prohibited,
prohibited! Did we say it is prohibited?
As we
said, the actions above will not be tolerated by
Feeling Scorned; and,
if any of these actions are reported, it will result
in users being blocked from our services. Just
remember, we have the right to disclose your
personal information if required by law with or
without providing you any notice. So please, let’s
keep the law out of this.
Copyrights
Look, we worked really hard on designing all the
content on this site and it is the property of
Feeling Scorned. So, to protect all our hard work
and creativeness, including, but not limited to, all

it, modifying it for your own use, transmitting it,
presenting it as your own work, or distributing it
in any form, is prohibited (that’s a big no-no!)
unless you have written permission from Feeling
Scorned. Otherwise legal proceedings will happen.
Spam
We hate spam, you hate spam; we all have that in
common. How do we reduce spam? By doing the
following:
•
Do not send
unsolicited email with commercial messages. (We
are not an advertising vehicle)
• Do not send e-cards to e-mail addresses on
mailing lists that you do not rightfully own;
those email addresses must have the permission
of the recipient in order to avoid being labeled
as spam.
At Feeling
Scorned we have rights as well, and one of them is
to ensure our customers are complying with our
policies. As said before, we do not monitor your
messages; however, we do have the right to reduce
the number of e-cards or the number of e-mail
addresses you send e-cards to. We also have the
reserve the right to review your messages to make
sure that you are in compliance with our policies.
